Nargis Fakhri’s Sister Aliya Arrested for Alleged Double Murder in Queens, Faces Life Sentence

The incident occurred on November 2 in a two-story garage where Jacobs resided. Witnesses reported hearing Fakhri, 43, shout, "You're all going to die today," before flames engulfed the building.

Jacobs and Ettienne tragically succumbed to smoke inhalation and thermal injuries. According to witnesses, Ettienne initially escaped but re-entered the burning structure to save Jacobs. Both were unable to make it out alive.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz has charged Fakhri with four counts of first- and second-degree murder and arson. If convicted, she faces a maximum life sentence. A grand jury has remanded her in custody, with her next court appearance set for December 9.

Jacobs’ mother revealed that the pair had a turbulent relationship and claimed Aliya struggled with rejection after their breakup. Reports also suggest Aliya had a history of opioid addiction.

Nargis Fakhri, known for her role in Rockstar, has not commented on the case. Aliya’s family expressed shock, describing her as caring despite her struggles.
