Nag Ashwin's highly anticipated film, "Kalki 2898 AD," is not only one of the most awaited films of the year but also marks a significant milestone as the most expensive Indian film to date, boasting a budget nearing 600 crore.

Scheduled for release on June 27th, the film features a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, promising a grand cinematic experience.

ETimes has exclusively learned that "Kalki 2898 AD" will be screened in all 26 IMAX screens across India. This decision underscores the film's grandeur and the confidence of both filmmakers and IMAX format owners in its potential.

IMAX has confirmed that the film will also have a strong presence on IMAX screens overseas in regions including North America (USA & Canada), the UK, the Middle East, and more. Exact screen counts are still being finalized as locations are being confirmed.

Speaking to ETimes, IMAX expressed their commitment to bringing "Kalki 2898 AD" to fans and moviegoers in IMAX format, highlighting the immersive viewing experience it promises.

Paul Copeland of The Embassy, who has contributed significantly to the film's VFX work, emphasized that "Kalki 2898 AD" is poised to be a groundbreaking film in India, generating considerable anticipation among audiences.

With its star-studded cast, substantial budget, and the immersive IMAX presentation, "Kalki 2898 AD" is set to redefine cinematic experiences in India and abroad. The film's blend of high-end visuals and storytelling aims to deliver an unforgettable viewing experience, making it a standout production in the Indian film industry.
