Mardaani 2 Date Announcement Teaser: Rani Mukerji is back has the fearless cop.

After five years of Mardaani, Rani Mukerji is back as feisty police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 2. And what better time to release the first-look poster and teaser than Navaratri. Rani, who was lauded for her role in Mardaani, has yet again stepped into the shoes of the fierce cop for Gopi Puthran's film.

The makers shared the trailer and wrote, "This Navratri, good will triumph over evil. Mark the date."

The 38-second video begins with a team of police officers entering into a building lead by Rani Mukerji. Then she is seen beating a man with the belt as a voiceover plays, "Ab tu kisi ladki ko haath laga ke dikha, tujhe itna maarungi ki teri twacha se teri umr ka pata nahi chalega" (Now you dare to touch a women, I will beat the pulp out of you that no one can judge your age by your skin)

Along with the teaser, the makers also unveiled the first-look poster of Mardaani 2.
