Mallika Dua Releases A Statement About Her Father Getting Accused Of Harassment

Mallika Dua, the comedienne and the sketcher known for her characters like Makeup Didi and her snapchat stories had released a statement by being diplomatic about the #MeToo accusation which has attacked her father Vinod Dua. 

This accusation was given by a woman named Nishtha Jain who is a journalist for The Wire and this incident happened 28 years ago when Vinod Dua was working as a journalist for the same news company.

In retaliation to the incident, Mallika Dua supported Nishtha Jain by consoling her and promised that she will fight against all the hypocrisy and support her father if the accusation turns out to be false.

This is nothing new as a year later when Mallika Dua was the judge for a reality show and Akshay Kumar's poor attempt to laugh her became very offensive to her. Vinod Dua attacked Akshay Kumar for harassing her. 

Mallika Dua was last seen in a popular film called Hindi Medium where she shared screen space alongside Irrfan in it. She had even stated that she wants to do more of mainstream roles in Bollywood.

Looks like Hypocrisy has taken over the like-mindedness too.
