The teaser for Mahavatar Narsimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar, has dropped, unveiling the epic animated film that tells the story of Lord Vishnu's fourth incarnation, Narsimha. Set for release in April 2025, the movie promises a captivating experience.

The highly anticipated teaser for Mahavatar Narsimha has been unveiled today, January 14, marking the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. The film, produced by Hombale Films and Kleem Productions, is set to bring the legendary story of Bhakt Prahlad and Lord Vishnu’s fourth avatar to the big screen.

The teaser offers an intriguing glimpse into the mythological tale of Narsimha—Vishnu’s half-lion, half-man avatar—although the face of the deity is deliberately withheld, leaving audiences yearning for more. This animated epic is the first part of a multi-part series dedicated to the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, focusing on the victory of good over evil as narrated in Hindu scriptures.

Director Ashwin Kumar’s Mahavatar Narsimha is a spiritual journey that promises to captivate audiences with its rich CGI and an inspiring narrative. The film brings to life the ancient story of Prahlad’s unwavering devotion to Vishnu and the ensuing battle between good and evil. The visuals, praised for their depth and cultural accuracy, are expected to resonate deeply with viewers.

Produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, the film follows the success of Kantara, with Hombale Films once again exploring lesser-known yet powerful legends from Indian culture.

The film, premiering at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), has already received widespread appreciation for its groundbreaking visuals and spiritual narrative. At the festival, Director Ashwin Kumar emphasized the film’s connection to ancient scriptures like the Vishnu Purana, Narasimha Purana, and Shrimad Bhagavat Purana, affirming that Mahavatar Narsimha is not just an animated film but a tribute to India's cultural heritage.

The release date for Mahavatar Narsimha has been confirmed for April 3, 2025. Audiences can look forward to a visual masterpiece that promises to bring this legendary story to life with immersive 3D animation.
