Love Sonia Trailer: The Dark Reality Behind Prostitution and Trafficking

Love Sonia is one of the hard-hitting films which explores the dark theme of child trafficking and prostitution. The film is backed with a stellar cast and it also boasts of International themes.

Love Sonia has a huge list of veteran actors like Adil Hussain, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in it. Anupam Kher has stepped out of his comfort zone by playing the role of a devious pimp who forces young girls into prostitution. Adil Hussain has given a performance oriented role by playing a role of a simple father whose daughters are sold into prostitution and he becomes battered because of it.

Manoj Bajpai gives a nostalgic feel with his portrayal of a pimp based in Mumbai, this one will take us back to 1998 when he played the role of Bhiku Mhatre in Satya, this character has a devilish charm which will be more than enough to make the fans go crazy about it. The talented actor Rajkummar Rao who impressed everyone with his acting in Trapped and Newton last year is somewhat portrayed like Kailash Sathyarthi who is an NGO activist who had won a Nobel Peace Prize for his dedication towards fighting child trafficking.

Freida Pinto will be featuring in this post her stint in Slumdog Millionaire and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, Richa Chadda has again proven her acting chops with her portrayal of a prostitute in this one. Sai Tamahankar, a popular Marathi actress who was last seen in Hunterrr is also playing an important role in this one. Mrunal Thakur who was famous for her role in a popular TV show called Kumkum Bhagya will be making her debut in this one. Riya Sisodiya will also be making her debut in this one.

Apart from Indian cast, two of the Hollywood actors namely Mark Duplass and Demi Moore will also be featured in this one and the plot of the film is set in Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles. I might say that this film will be one of the classic films to be remembered in the long run.

The plot seems similar to Nagesh Kuknoor's Lakshmi and this one is much more intense and gritty compared to the latter. This one might win big at the National Award this time.
