Love Meets Horror: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Unite in Maddock's Thama

Set to release on Diwali 2025, Thama will expand Maddock’s shared universe, which includes hit films like Stree, Stree 2, Munjya, Bhediya, and Roohi. Ayushmann is rumored to portray a vampire, a character hinted at in Stree 2.

Producer Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films unveiled Thama's motion poster, along with a teaser announcing the film as “a love story… unfortunately, it’s a bloody one.” Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Stree 2 recently topped the Hindi box office with over Rs 800 crore in earnings, establishing Maddock’s brand in the horror-comedy genre. Ayushmann, following his recent success with Dream Girl 2, aims to reinforce his place in theatres with Thama, a gripping story that combines romance and supernatural thrills in Maddock's celebrated cinematic universe.
