Kartik Aryan romances with two ladies in present and yesteryear with Sara Ali Khan and newcomer Arushi in this spin-off of 2009 romantic hit Love Aaj Kal which starred Sara's father Saif Ali Khan.
Imtiaz Ali's new romantic film Love Aaj Kal starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan is out.
The film's trailer shows the difference of love in the modern era, 2020 and the yesteryear era in 1990. The trailer lies in a similar premise of Imitiaz Ali 2009 film with the same name.
The trailer begins with Sara scolding Kartik for not being romantic and then we see a past era where Arushi's character is scolding Kartik for stalking her. The trailer has all the traits of an Imitiaz Ali film with a lot of romance and melodrama. Sara hams a bit when she delivers dialogue with emotion.

Kartik looks different from his Pyar ka Punchnama avatar which is almost become a typecast for the actor till his last release Pati, Patni Aur Woh.
The trailer also shows a glimpse of hit numbers from the original Twist and Aahun Aahun, which seem to offer a dose of nostalgia for the fans of the 2009 hit film.
The film has been majorly shot in Delhi and Himachal Pradesh and several behind the scene pictures and videos were shared by the lead actors on their social media handles. This is Sara’s third film and is the remake of 2009 original that starred her father Saif Ali Khan opposite Deepika Padukone. It also had Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Giselli Monteiro in prominent roles.
The film is scheduled to release on 14th February 2014 on the occasion of Valentine's Day.
