Kesari Trailer out now : Akhsay kumar returns to Period Drama, takes Dharma Production along

Anurag Singh's Directorial, Kesari, is an unbelievable true story based on the Battle of Saragarhi, 1897. Starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, this Dharma Production is slated to release on 21st March as Holi Festive Release
Battle of Saragarhi, Touted as one of the bravest battle ever fought, 21 courageous Sikhs countered 10,000 invaders. These saffron clad warriors fought valiantly against all odds and changed the meaning of bravery.
Akshay Kumar truly disappears in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh and the grace with which this character is portrayed is totally commendable. we just see a glimpse of Parineeti's characters in the trailer. other characters are also not revealed much in the trailer, we hope there is a lot more to be revealed in the movie.
Films visuals are spectacular, giving vibes of an Authentic Period Drama, the Quality of Production is evident on screen. Kesari also marks the return Director Anurag Singh to Bollywood, after 2007's Raqeeb, After which Director got busy in Punjabi Film industry where he made Successful ventures.
Interestingly, there are three adaptations of the battle of Saragarhi, which went on floor same year. Along with Kesari, the legendary battle of Saragarhi has inspired 21:Battle of Saragarhi, starring Randeep Hooda, and the on-air TV show, 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897, starring Mohit Raina
