Kartik Aaryan's upcoming romantic film, previously anticipated as 'Aashiqui 3', is now rumored to be titled 'Tu Aashiqui Hai'. However, reports suggest that the movie is not a continuation of the 'Aashiqui' series but rather a standalone project with a different storyline.
According to sources cited by Times Now, the film draws inspiration from the 1981 movie "Basera," which featured Shashi Kapoor, Rakhee, and Rekha. The project is slated to commence production later this year. Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri are set to play the lead roles, with the producers still finalising another actress for the film. However, official confirmation from the makers is pending.
In the meantime, Kartik Aaryan's fans can look forward to seeing him in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. The actor recently confirmed Vidya Balan's return to the franchise, with the film scheduled for release during Diwali.
