‘Karo Matdan!’ Shahrukh Khan urges people of India to vote in the Lok Sabha elections.

Political parties are using all the possible ways to connect with voters in this election season. And they are using rap and hip-hop genres to promote their party.

Now it’s the Badshah’s turn to urge people to vote. Bollywood’s King Khan Shahrukh Khan came out with vote campaign video ‘Karo Matdan’ (Do Vote) Posted online by his production house Red Chillies Entertainment.

On March 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had, in an appeal on Twitter, asked Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Karan Johar, among others, to “creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in the coming elections.’’

Shah Rukh Khan’s video comes as a response to the prime minister’s appeal.

Urging @SrBachchan, @iamsrk and @karanjohar to creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in the coming elections.
