'Judgemental Hai Kya' Trailer: Kangana and Rajkummar injects swag in madness.

The trailer has plenty of eccentricity showcased by the characters with the plot of a murder mystery.

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, two extraordinary actors come together after five years, since their last release Queen. 

The trailer of the film showcases both Kangana and Rajkummar as two suspects of murder. 

Kangana is known for excelling eccentric character and she portrays a complex Bobby.

Rajkummar is Keshav, who is a womanizer and a smooth talker. Keshav starts to live with his girlfriend near Bobby's house and Bobby suspects him as she finds his life fake. 


The rest of the trailer shows how both the leads fight against each other to prove their innocence to the police. 

The film is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film deals with mental health and hallucinations. It is written by Prakash's wife Kanika Dhillon who has earlier written Manmarziyan and for his own directorial venture Size Zero.

Rajkummar was last seen in Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga and Kangana was last seen in Manikarnika. Both the films were released this year.

The film was previously titled Mental Hai Kya but underwent a last-minute change after a controversy surrounding its depiction of mental health, initiated in part by Deepika Padukone’s The Live Love Laugh Foundation. A  source as saying, “Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and the fact that our intention is not to offend or hurt anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title to Judgemental Hai Kya.”

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), along with the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) and Deepika Padukone’s The Live Love Laugh Foundation, wrote letters to the film’s makers, CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, the Prime Minister’s office and former Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore seeking withdrawal of the teasers and a revision of the title.

The film will release this month, July 26th.
