Jayeshbhai Jordaar First Look Poster: Ranveer Singh is playing as a Gujarati in the film.

Ranveer is known for getting into the skin of his characters, for instance, in his role as Kapil Dev for the film 83, his look seems indisputably bang on. Even though playing a Gujarati boy seems challenging to Ranveer, he admits that he will be deconstructing himself in order to fit perfectly into the role.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is directed by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Yash Raj Studios. Its plot revolves around an ordinary Gujarati boy who ends up doing something extraordinary when he comes across certain threatening situations. Talking about the film to HT, Ranveer said, "As Charlie Chaplin once said: 'To trly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it'. Jayeshbhai is an unlikely hero, an ordinary man, who ends up doing something extraordinary when he's hurled into a threatening situation. He is sensitive and compassionate, and believes in equal rights between men and women in a society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals and practices."
