Indeed India's Most Wanted has a ticking bomb in terms of limitation of the protagonist. the operation has to be finished in 4 days and with no support from the state, But that isn't enough for suspense Thriller. A Simple Action Drama that you can watch to embrace the Patriotic vibe (with no added jingoism and propaganda) and for our Unsung Heroes.

Story/Premise

Prabhat Kapoor (Arjun Kapoor) receives an intel about India's most wanted terrorist. Despite the State not approving, Prabhat goes ahead with the mission along with his team. How does he succeed? forms rest of the plot

Review

You know the plot from the trailer itself and you can also presume the end, but what you wanna know is how it happens? that makes the movie solely dependent on the screenplay, in which movie has nothing new to offer. it simply chronicles the events and builds up slight tension at moments which gets easily resolved too, including the climax hurdle of crossing India borders. perhaps its to align with real events, but some cinematic liberty is expected when a movie is promoted to be a Thriller. Indeed, India's most wanted chooses to take a simpler path which makes the screenplay less intriguing.

Movie opens with the introduction of Prabhat (Arjun Kapoor) where he gets the intel about India's most wanted terrorist from an informer in Nepal and story progresses with his attempts to get permission from his superiors for this mission, which he doesn't get and he takes up the mission anyways with his team with a self-sponsored budget. here you expect the premise is well set for a vigilante adventure but to our surprise, they penetrate through the spy-filled world of Nepal very easily and never arises a situation where they would need a weapon.

Director Raj Kumar Gupta's previous flick 'Raid' had a suspense element of Hidden Black money to be found which kept us at the edge of the seat, but India's Most wanted lacks that suspense element and at the end everything feels stale. At regular intervals, Dramatised versions of the bomb blasts done by the wanted terrorist are shown to raise the stakes but that's it, there isn't much role for the villain/terrorist and at the end he just voluntarily gets caught-up and doesn't attempt to run away either, so you don't see much of a fight too

Verdict

Indeed India's Most Wanted has a ticking bomb in terms of limitation of the protagonist. the operation has to be finished in 4 days and with no support from the state, But that isn't enough for suspense Thriller.
