Hungama 2 Trailer: The trailer gives the Hint that Meezan Jafri-Shilpa Shetty starrer is a remake of Priyadarshan's own film Minnaram

The trailer of the Priyadarshan's Hungama 2 is out and the trailer gives us the vibe that it's the remake of the filmmaker's own film Minnaram starring Mohanlal. Priyadarshan is known for remaking Malayalam films into Bollywood. The film stars Meezan Jafri, Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty and Pranitha Subash.
Hungama 2 is going to get an OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. The first trailer for the comedy sequel, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Meezaan Jafferi and Pranitha Subhash, was released on Thursday.
According to the trailer, it is showcased that the premise is similar to Priyadarshan's own Malayalam film Minnaram (1994) starring Mohanlal and Shobhana. Priyadarshan is known for remaking Malayalam films into Bollywood. All the successful films of Priyan in Hindi such as Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Garam Masala and the prequel of Hungama 2, Hungama were the remake of Malayalam films.
The film's plot revolves around Meezaan's character trying to disprove that he's the father of his college sweetheart's baby. Paresh Rawal reprises his role as Radheshyam Tiwari from the first film, which starred Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, and Rimi Sen.
The trailer also features a remixed version of the hit 90s song Chura Ke Dil Mera Goriya Chali, originally picturised on Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar in the film Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The new version is also picturised on Shilpa.
Hungama 2 also features Rajpal Yadav, Ashutosh Rana, Tiku Talsania, and others. The film will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 23.
