'Housefull 5' to complete the final leg of the schedule in Mumbai

After an extensive shoot across Europe, which included scenes aboard a cruise ship, the cast is preparing for a major climax sequence and a large song number, both scheduled for early November. For this final leg, the Chitrakoot Grounds in Mumbai will feature a specially constructed set that replicates different parts of a luxury cruise ship. Additionally, elaborate interiors representing a bungalow have been designed for the climax scenes, which will involve crowd shots to capture the signature Housefull vibe of comedic chaos and grandeur.

Notably, Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, who faced visa issues earlier and couldn't join the UK shoot, will now join in Mumbai. This final portion of filming is expected to conclude by early December, with the song number shot in the first days of the month. The star-studded cast includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, and Dino Morea. Female leads Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, and Soundarya Sharma round out the lineup. The film is set to release in theaters on June 6, 2025.
