Horror Comedy Munjya Enters the Prestigious Rs.100 Crore Club

Horror comedy Munjya, released two weeks ago, is performing remarkably well at the Bollywood box office. Directed by Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar, it is the fourth installment in the Maddock supernatural universe.
Despite low initial expectations, the film saw a significant boost in box office performance due to positive word of mouth.
Munjya crossed the impressive Rs. 100 crores gross mark after its third weekend, a noteworthy feat considering it features no major stars. The industry is astonished by these numbers, and trade analysts predict the film will continue to earn more in the coming days.
The supernatural horror comedy stars Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj in key roles. Meanwhile, Aditya Sarpotdar's next film, Kakuda, is set for release on July 12 on Zee5.
