Hollywood paid tribute to Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi at Oscars 2018

Shashi Kapoor died last December at the age of 79 and Sridevi died at the age of 54 in Dubai on Feb 24th, 2018.
Late Bollywood actors Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi were honoured at the 90th Academy Awards ceremony. ‘Memoriam’ montage pays tribute to those the film industry has lost in the past year. Former James Bond Sir Roger Moore, actors Martin Landau and Harry Dean Stanton, French star Jeanne Moreau, actor and playwright Sam Shepard, and directors George Romero and Jonathan Demme were also remembered. Eddie Vedder sang Tom Petty’s Room At The Top as a musical tribute to the superstars. Shashi Kapoor passed away on December 4, 2017 after suffering with a prolonged illness. Sridevi died of accidental drowning on February 24, 2018. Both Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi, who were Padma awardees, were cremated with state honors.
