Gold Trailer Decode: Another Reason To Celebrate Patriotism

Akshay Kumar has been doing a lot of patriotic films for the past few years ranging from Holiday, Baby, Gabbar, Airlift, Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and much recently Pad Man. This time he has proven that he is the undisputed king of patriotic films after Manoj Kumar.

Here is what we are actually getting to see in this trailer:

1. The backdrop of British India: The backdrop of British India reminds me of 2001 cult classic Lagaan which was also set during the British Era but the main difference is that the characters of the former were villagers but these guys in the trailer are well-established.

2. The Flag before India got its official tricolor: Many of us know that India was once upon a time ruled by the British and the Indian flag was actually clubbed with the union jack before the actual tricolor came into existence.

3. Akshay Kumar's role equivalent to Bhuvan: Looking at Akshay Kumar, we feel that his character has strong resemblance to Bhuvan (played by Aamir Khan) in Lagaan and he also has same characteristics of which Bhuvan possesses.

4. Mouni Roy, a perfect Bengali Beauty: There have been a lot of Bengali Actresses like Sharmila Tagore, Moushumi Chatterjee, Rani Mukherjee and Bipasha Basu who have swayed everyone on the silver screen because of their good looks and charm. Now Mouni Roy will be latest addition in this list to cast her magic on the silver screen with her natural beauty.

5. Representing India's National Sport: Just like Chakde! India, Gold also promises the audience to shift its focus from cricket to hockey and consider it as a national sport as well.

6. Proud To Be An Indian moment: Just like every other patriotic movie which has released, this movie also promises to give us serious patriotic goals and an essence of pride for the nation.

7. Intense Moments: The intense moments in the trailer gives us a lot of goosebumps to us and even gives us serious patriotism goals as well. This one will ignite fire in our hearts if we are planning to watch it on Independence Day.
