Ek Villain 2: Makers announced the release date of John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor has replaced Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri's Ek Villain Returns.
Ek Villain Returns, the sequel to Mohit Suri's 2014 film, is scheduled to hit theatres on February 11, 2022. The director took to social media to announce the news. While earlier it was reported that the film will see John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur share screen space, it is now announced that Arjun Kapoor has replaced the latter. Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani will be seen playing female leads. The film will feature John and Arjun as villains, not heroes.
Director Mohit Suri today announced on social media that Ek Villain Returns will release on February 11, 2022. The filmmaker wrote, "Hero ki kahaani sab jaante hai.. par villain ki? #EkVillainReturns, 11th Feb, 2022 (sic)."

Ek Villain (2014) starred Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. For its sequel, Mohit Suri brought John Abraham on board. Earlier, it was reported that the Force actor will be seen fighting Aditya Roy Kapur. But now, according to Suri's post, Arjun Kapoor has been signed as the second lead for the Villain vs Villain saga. Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani are females leads of the film.
