Dilip Kumar's funeral took place with full state honours at Juhu Qabrastan in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Dharmendra and Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray visited Saira Banu at their residence to condole the legend's death.
Acting Thespian Dilip Kumar's memorial service is occurring with full state respect in Mumbai on Wednesday. The entertainer died almost immediately on July 7, at 98 years old at the city's Hinduja emergency clinic. Dilip Kumar's interment will be held at Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced a state memorial service for the symbol of Hindi film.
Actors, for example, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Vidya Balan visited Dilip Kumar's home before in the day to mourn his passing. Thackeray likewise met the entertainer's significant other Saira Banu to offer his appreciation.

The actor’s official Twitter account shared, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.” The next update read, “Burial today at 5:00 PM. Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai.”
The veteran actor suffered from advanced prostate cancer that had spread to other organs of his body. “Cancer spread made it difficult to treat him,” the doctor said.
Some of his most notable works include Naya Daur, Madhumati, Ganga Jumna, Ram aur Shyam, Mughal-e-Azam, Shakti, Mashaal, Kranti among many others.
Dilip Kumar is survived by his wife, veteran actor Saira Banu.
