Danny Danzongpa's Soft Side With Bioscopewala

Danny was notably famous for always portraying as a menacing villain with grey shades in the yesteryear films. But after his supporting role in ‘Baby’ & ‘Naam Shabana’ as Akshay Kumar’s senior in R&AW, he started focussing on positive roles. That side is shown in this movie Bioscopewala, which happens to be a modern version of Rabindranath Tagore’s classic tale ‘Kabuliwala’ with some modifications like Danny Denzongpa plays the Kabuliwala but the difference is that this “Kabuliwala” showcases movies in a bioscope and he has an unusual bond with a 5 year old girl. The movie borrows elements of the cult tale of Rabindranath Tagore and I hope the modern take to the story will be much more appealing to the masses.

The film also stars Tisca Chopra, Adil Hussain & Geetanjali Thapa in pivotal roles.
