Dalip Tahil Arrested For Drunk Driving And Ramming An Auto

Dalip Tahil, a known figure in Bollywood is famous for playing supporting roles in films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Ajnabee and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. He became internationally famous when he was featured in AR Rahman's musical called the Bombay Dreams which had 500 shows in London with housefull.

The actor was recently caught in a legal trouble when he was driving the car in full speed under the influence of alcohol and during that time, there was the Ganpati Visarjan taking place in the city which blocked his way and he injured two passengers while driving the car. The car was momentarily stopped by the passersby and they pulled him out of the car, there was a severe altercation taking place between both the parties and the police had to be involved when they were called on the right time, who then arrested the actor and took him to custody.

The actor refused to give his blood samples when the cops asked to check for alcohol in his blood and he was charged for rash driving, driving under influence and causing damage to public property. The actor later was granted bail after the incident.

Does this mean that the law and order of our country is favourable only to the rich and famous? Well, time will only tell.
