Chetan Bhagat Responds To His Alleged Chat

Famous Writer Chetan Bhagat had been in the news lately for his alleged WhatsApp chat where he was involved in a sexual misconduct.
This incident came to light three days back when a woman uploaded a screenshot of the infamous chat which she had with the author a few years ago when he was married to Anusha. The woman alleged that he was speaking in an unparliamentary manner and also used a lot of expletives in his conversation.
Chetan Bhagat had recently released an apology statement in his social media handle and he had got an enormous response to the statement. There were many who were terribly thrashing the writer mercilessly for doing all this for the sake of his new book and for the sake of his wife.
Here are some of the trolls which Chetan Bhagat received from the netizens:
Put this down in sequel to earlier book and name it "fourth mistake of my life". Also this is more a damage control than apology. I'm sure there is more to this.

Is this real or a publicity stunt for his upcoming book A Girl In Room 105 which is all set to release tomorrow?
