‘Chengiz’: Hindi teaser out and set for an Eid release

The high-octane, high-energy action entertainer ‘Chengiz’ is the first Bengali film to be released in Hindi, simultaneously with its original Bengali version. The distributors who brought blockbusters like ‘KGF’, ‘Baahubali’, ‘Robot’ and ‘Kantara’ among others to the Hindi market now have another challenging job to make ‘Chengiz’ a Pan-India hit.

Starring Jeet in and as Chengiz, the action thriller also stars Shataf Figar, Susmita Chatterjee and Rohit Bose Roy in key roles and revolves around the underworld fabric of Calcutta from the 70’s to the mid-90’s. The film captures and chronicles the journey of ‘Chengiz’ an underworld kingpin who ruled the streets.

‘Chengiz’ has been directed by Rajesh Ganguly who has also worked on the dialogues and screenplay. Based on a story by Neeraj Pandey and the director himself, the film is set for an Eid release on 21st April this year.

Since his last release 'Raavan', fans have been eagerly waiting for this action flick as this will once again introduce Jeet as his usual action hero avatar. The action scenes in this film have been choreographed by South Indian cinema’s one of the most renowned stunt directors Stunt Silva.
