Blackmail gets an average rating of 3.0 out of 5.0 from the critics.
Blackmail is a black comedy directed by ‘Delhi Belly’ fame Abhinav Deo. The story of the movie is realistic with fun filled elements added to it. Irrfan Khan is terrific while Divya Dutta, Kirti Kulhari and Arunoday Singh have also given their best performances. Urmila Matondkar looks ravishing in her comeback performance ‘Bewafa Beauty’. The Plot: Dev Kaushal (Irrfan), an average middle-class man who works as a Toilet Paper salesperson decides to reach home early from work to spice up his otherwise boring and mundane life by taking a bunch of red roses to his wife. To his surprise, he finds his wife with another man in the bed. Instead of resisting them, he decides to blackmail them. What follows up next is a series of events that are both funny and scandalous.
