Much before Arijit Singh and Sonu Nigam became popular with their songs, there was another singer who was popular in the 80's and the 90's and that is none other than Kumar Sanu who used to hypnotise everyone with his songs.

Here are some of his key songs which most of us have been listening to our heart's content all our lives:

1. Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye From Jurm: The song was so melodious that we can relate to our friends or our partners. This song was a "must-keep" for most of the music lovers who loved this song like anything.

2. Ek Sanam Chahiye From Aashiqui: The only song which is quite a rage among the listeners and the best part about it that it became a household name in the coming years to come. Despite the sequel of the film had even awesome songs, this will be remembered for a very long time.

3. Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen From Baazigar: Who can forget this song which was the main highlight of the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, with Anu Malik's score and his rendition. The song was a sure-shot winner at the box office and won him the best playback singer as well.

4. Tujhe Dekha Toh From Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: Another iconic song which has been quite popular with the 90s kids and the college kids who have been listening to this song on repeat since the day it released.  The song is quite popular even now for its lyrics and its stunning visuals.

5. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh From 1942 - A Love Story: This is quite remembering as this has been sung by many youngsters and the 90s kids who have turned into adults. Even if this song has been remade in the upcoming film titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, the song will still be one of the remembered versions even now.

6. Dard Karara From Dum Laga Ke Haisha: The only song from the film which is the main highlight of the film and we can only remember this song only for its 90's feels and the vibe which involved no adulteration of that era.

Will he make a comeback in this era with more melodious songs?
