Ayushmann Khurrana's next is Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui
Ayushmann is pairing with Vaani Kapoor for the first time. The film will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram account to make a big announcement today. The 36-year-old actor announced his collaboration with director Abhishek Kapoor for his next film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and he also mentioned that he will travel all the way to his hometown Chandigarh for shooting this film. He shared two pictures on social media
In one of the photos, Ayushmann can be seen with the film’s lead actress and the director while other is a picture of the clapboard. Ayushmann can be seen donning a bearded look (we assume that is the new look for his film) in the photo. “Next stop: My hometown Chandigarh for the first time Excited to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor's delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor co-starring Vaani Kapoor,” he wrote.
Vaani Kapoor also shared the same photos and captioned it, “It’s time to fall in love! Thrilled to be a part of Abhishek Kapoor's delightful progressive love story #ChandigarhKareAashiqui. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor!”
On Tuesday, Vaani Kapoor shared a picture on her Instagram account where she can be seen surrounded by makeup artists getting ready for a shot. “Heart full of gratitude. This gotta be a special (sic),” the 32year-old actress captioned the picture.

Ayushmann was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan which released on Amazon Prime Video.
Vaani Kapoor recently flew back to India after wrapping up the shooting for Bell Bottom which also stars Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. Set in the 80s, Bell Bottom is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.
