Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar are starring Amar Kaushik’s ‘Bala’.

Ayushmann Khurrana is known for opting unique film with a unique story and his next film is about a guy who is dealing with the issue of premature balding.

The film is directing by Amar Kaushik who made last year’s most successful film Stree.

Bhumi Pednekar is again paired with Ayushman after their previous two successful films Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Savdhan (this was Bhumi’s debut movie).

Yami Gautam is also one of the lead actresses of the film who is portraying a supermodel based in Lucknow.

According to a source, Ayushmann’s nickname in the film is Bala and thus the title. The film also features Saurab Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. It will be shot in Kanpur.

Interestingly, recent release Gone Kesh starring Shwetha Tripathi also dealt with pre-mature balding.

The release date of the film Bala is not confirmed yet.
