Anushka’s ‘Pari’ to clash with John’s ‘Parmanu’

Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’ which was slated to release on March 2nd, 2018 now has a competitor at box office. John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokran’ will also be releasing on the same day. The makers of the movie announced the release date of ‘Parmanu’ recently. Since ‘Pari’ is a mysterious Horror Love story drama while ‘Parmanu’ is a Historical Action Drama, the makers claim that it is not a clash as the genres of two movies are different. ‘Parmanu’ was slated to release on December 8th, 2017, but the release was postponed to avoid clash with ‘Padmaavat’. Whatever is the reason, we have seen that whenever there are two big budget movies releasing on the same day, one of them will be affected due to various circumstances like reviews, number of screens etc. We must wait and watch to see if history repeats?
