Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Teaser: To mark Ranbir Kapoor's birthday, the teaser for his upcoming film Animal was unveiled online, and it lives up to expectations for a Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. The brief teaser offers a glimpse into the movie's narrative, which revolves around a tumultuous father-son relationship. In the film, Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor portray a father and son who have always had a strained relationship. Despite the toxicity in their relationship, Ranbir's character is conditioned to believe that his father is the "best father in the world."

It appears that Ranbir's character hails from a wealthy family, but his unresolved issues with his father drive him down a dark and violent path. The latter part of the teaser features a confrontation previously hinted at in the pre-teaser. Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir's love interest, and the teaser opens with her character suggesting that Ranbir should not follow in his father's footsteps, triggering his anger. The teaser concludes with Bobby Deol opening a door, leaving much to the audience's imagination.

Animal was originally slated for an August release but was later rescheduled to December 1. 

Bhushan Kumar, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, described Animal as a "pan-world" film, expressing excitement about the project. He stated, "This film has everything. It is a full-on entertainer, a proper pan-India, pan-world film with drama, action, a compelling story, and outstanding, never-before-seen performances by Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and the entire cast. The audience is eagerly looking forward to it, and we are confident about the numbers. People have already made up their minds to watch the film, just as we saw with 'Jawan' months ago."

Animal is Ranbir Kapoor's second release of the year, following Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The February release, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, was considered a box office success, earning Rs 149.05 crore according to Bollywood Hungama, despite receiving mixed reviews.
