Anil Kapoor Portrays a Battered Figure as Ranbir Kapoor's Father in 'Animal' Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga

After 'Kabir Singh' with Shahid Kapoor, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is all set with his second Hindi film titled, 'Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
Following his successful collaboration with Shahid Kapoor in 'Kabir Singh,' Sandeep Reddy Vanga is gearing up for his second Hindi film, titled 'Animal,' with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
The film's creators have unveiled a character poster featuring Anil Kapoor, who will portray Ranbir's father in the movie. Anil Kapoor shared the poster on his Instagram handle with the caption, 'Animal Ka Baap…Balbir Singh!' In the poster, he sports a wounded and bruised appearance, with a vibrant backdrop adorned with colorful flowers.

The poster received an abundance of likes and comments from all quarters. Anil's son, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, responded with four bow-down emojis and two fire emojis on the Instagram post. His son-in-law and director of 'Thank You For Coming,' Karan Boolani, also commented with a face with sunglasses emoji.
Fans expressed their excitement, with one writing, 'Anil Kapoor vs. Ranbir Kapoor, let's go, I can't wait,' and another commenting, 'Anil maamey super.' A fan even stated, 'You have no comparison(sic).'
In addition to Anil and Ranbir, 'Animal' will feature Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles. The film is set to hit theaters on December 1, 2023, where it will go head-to-head with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur' at the box office.
