The name Amitabh Bachchan creates a shockwave among every common man's life and the fans around the world worship him like a god. This man has seen everything and now we all know the secret of his extravagant lifestyle.
Born on 11th October 1942 to legendary poet Shri Harivanshrai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan, his original name was Inquilab Shrivastava when he was born. He did his schooling in Nainital and then attended the Kirori Mal College in Delhi. Despite being highly educated, life was not favouring Amitabh Bachchan as his main aspiration was to become an RJ for All India Radio but was rejected for his heavy voice.
Amitabh decided to give his hand in acting but was rejected even there because of his enormous height. The only way he could stay afloat the film industry was by doing supporting roles in many big-budget films which had Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra and Raj Kumar in the lead. He did achieve quite a recognition while doing such roles and was recognized in his iconic film Bombay To Goa. But a lead role in Zanjeer broke the stereotypes of the actor and he was entitled as the Angry Young Man in the 70s. With the success of Zanjeer, many films followed with his first nickname and that gave him fame and fan-following.

But all that was short-lived when he was on the verge of dying while shooting a fight sequence in Coolie where his intestine was ruptured and the doctors were on the verge of giving up when he was not responding to the treatment. Many fans were praying for the speedy recovery of the actor.
After a life-threatening battle, Bachchan decided to give hand in opening a business venture which was into film production and event management. One of their first ventures was to organize Miss World in 1996 which faced an obstacle when a political group started vandalizing the event. Worse than that were the films produced by him were failing miserably and he ended up penniless.
As they is a line from his father's poem Agneepath -
"Take this oath!
And walk the Path of Fire, every single day!
The oath of fire! Yes, That Path of Fire!".
He decided to host the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" in 2000, which was a huge success and gave a comeback with Mohabbatein.
Well, all this wealth and luxuries never come always in a platter. You have to work hard in such a way that you don't get them, they come to you.
