Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi's 'OMG 2' Now Streaming On OTT

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's blockbuster film, 'OMG 2', which premiered in theaters on August 11, 2023, directed by Amit Rai, revolves around sex education and features Pankaj Tripathi in a leading role. Despite its successful box office run, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recommended 27 cuts before its release. 'OMG 2' is now streaming on Netflix.

Akshay Kumar shared his thoughts on the CBFC's 27 editing suggestions in an interview with India Today regarding the movies OTT release. He expressed, "I don't wish to engage in conflicts. I'm unfamiliar with the regulations and didn't delve into the rulebook. If they considered it an adult film, then... did you all perceive it as one? Everyone who has seen the film has appreciated it. I made it with a young audience in mind, and I'm delighted that it's coming to Netflix, which is a positive development. That's all. The most important thing is for people to be aware of it."
