A film needs strong emotions to have the audience's hearts invested in it: S S Rajamouli

Talking about the film, S S Rajamouli said, "Our film was delayed on multiple occasions due to the pandemic. We were very unsure about the occupancy of the theatres. From the audience side, I had absolutely no doubt that people would come to watch the film when it releases but the doubt was from the health authorities' side."

Once all the theatres opened, RRR was able to get all the audiences back to the theatres. That is the biggest achievement for me."

Rajamouli also said, "Visual grandeur is what attracts the audience and catches their attention, it engages their mind but to keep their heart invested in the movie you need strong emotions to run underneath your visuals. It’s important for every larger than life entry sequence and action sequence."

The Hindi version of the flick has collected Rs 196 crore at the box office while the overall collection of the film is more than Rs 700-750 crore nett.
