The actor-model passed away on Thursday night at the age of 32, attributed to cervical cancer according to the post shared on her Instagram account. Some initially questioned the authenticity of the news, but Poonam's team confirmed the unfortunate event in an interview with News18, stating, "She passed away last night." Her manager, Parul Chawla, also corroborated the news to ANI.

The Instagram post from Poonam Pandey's official account, accompanied by folded hands and a heart emoji, conveyed the somber message: "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared."
