However, Hindustan Times has now reported that there is no truth to these rumors. A source cited by the news portal mentioned, "Talks have been initiated with Kamal sir. He hasn't even confirmed anything yet. It'll take another week or two for us to get more clarity on whether he's accepted the offer or not."

Regarding other details about Prabhas' highly anticipated Project K, the film is directed by Nag Ashwin and marks Deepika Padukone's debut in the Telugu film industry. It is said to be made on a budget of Rs 500 crore. In a recent interview, producer Ashwini Dutt revealed that Project K revolves around the "modern-day avatar of Vishnu" and includes elements of fantasy and science-fiction. The film is expected to feature stunning action sequences overseen by international stunt choreographers. Project K is anticipated to release in January 2024.
