Warner Bros will take ‘appropriate legal channels’ to take down the video posted by American President Donald Trump which is the music of their production venture ‘Dark Night Rises’.
Trump tweeted the video, which contains the track Why Do We Fall from Hans Zimmer’s score for the Batman film Dark Night Rises, on April 10.
The video, according to the Wrap, shows images of Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, juxtaposed with clips of the president. He captioned the tweet, “Make America Great Again,” in all-caps.
Warner Bros said in a statement, “The use of Warner Bros.’ score from The Dark Knight Rises in the campaign video was unauthorized. We are working through the appropriate legal channels to have it removed.”
Trump’s tweet has received almost 100,000 ‘likes’. A similar situation transpired in February when Twitter removed a video posted by Trump after the band REM took the issue to the unauthorized use of its song Everybody Hurts in a video.
