In Christopher Nolan's movie "Oppenheimer," Cillian Murphy portrays the role of the theoretical physicist, J. Robert Oppenheimer. The film also features Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, and Robert Downey Jr. in prominent roles.
Charles Oppenheimer, the grandson of J. Robert Oppenheimer, shared his thoughts on a scene in Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" during an interview with TIME. When asked if he found any part of the film to be inaccurate, Charles mentioned that the scene he liked the least was the 'poison apple reference.' He further clarified that his disagreement with that particular part was not directed towards Nolan but rather because it presented a 'problem' that was also present in the book "American Prometheus."
And while talking about the parts he really liked in the film, it was the conversation that his grandfather had with Albert Einstein in the climax of the film. He stated that it was really effective though it wasn’t historical. And as a dramatised representation of history, it was largely accurate.
