Mary poppins reminding us time and time again that anything is possible with just a bit of imagination

Mary Poppins Returns is an upcoming American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall and written by David Magee, from a story by Magee, Marshall, and John DeLuca. Based on the book series by P. L. Travers and a sequel film to 1964's Mary Poppins, the film stars Emily Blunt as the title character, with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, with Meryl Streep and Dick Van Dyke in supporting roles. Van Dyke is the only actor from the original to return, portraying the son of one his original characters. Set in 1935 London, 25 years after the events of the original film, it sees Poppins, the former nanny of Jane and Michael Banks, returning after a family tragedy.

A day ago the most awaited trailer for the movie that brings us joy along with the joy of Christmas has been released. It brings about nostalgia, Memories of our childhood and most importantly remember that with just a little bit of imagination anything is possible even the impossible. 

The trailer is set after the previous Mary Poppins movie. The kids that she took care of in that movie are all grown up and now have families of their own. Mary Poppins comes back in their time of dire need and when tragedy has struck them.

The trailer is filled with positivity and gives the audience a glimmer of Joy that the trailer tries to portray. The trailer tries to signify the truth behind how when people grow up they often forget what is was like to be  child and think and act like one. the trailer shows us a glimpse into the life that the children will start having once Mary Poppins starts caring for them. The joy that she brings among all the things that are happening around them and their family.

Mary Poppins returns will be the movie of the Christmas Season that brings both joy and love into the lives of people. The Trailer is the right amount of perfect with just the right dash of surprise elements, musicals, and fun imaginations.

The film was officially announced in September 2015. Marshall was hired later that month, and Blunt and Miranda were cast in February 2016. Filming lasted from February to July 2017 and took place at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, United Kingdom.

Mary Poppins Returns is scheduled for release on December 19, 2018.
