Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a remake of the 1995 super hit Jumanji with a twist. This time people playing the game are sucked for real into a video game’s jungle setting. They soon realise that they can quit from the game only after restoring a jewel to the giant statue of a jaguar in the jungle. The jewel was taken off from the hunter Van Pelt played by Bobby Cannavale. How they survive in the jungle and come back to the real world lies the crux of the story.
