Set shortly after the events of the 2019 film, the trailer teases a musical journey and a captivating storyline.

In this new installment, Joker and Harley Quinn's romance ignites within the walls of a mental asylum, leading them to unleash chaos upon Gotham City. The trailer hints at thrilling on-stage moments, showcasing Lady Gaga's spotlight in the film.

Director Phillips addressed inquiries about the film's musical aspect, stating, "I like to say it’s a movie where music is an essential element. To me, that doesn’t veer too far from the first film."
