Ser Jorah died protecting his lady love, Daenerys Targaryen in the last episode of Game of Thrones. He started as a spy giving information about the surviving Targaryen and soon became a close confidante of the Dragons mother. An outcast of house Mormont and surviving as a sellsword in Essos, he never thought about a life of selfless servitude but thats what he was for Daenerys, a selfless, devoted friend and lover.

The Red Lady or Lady Melisandre, a devout pilgrim of the Lord of the Light, tried her best to help the Azor Ahai or the Prince who was promised. After the long night got over in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3, she walks towards the rising sun embracing her death as she goes. She believed in that the Lord of Light gives purpose to each life and death should only come when that purpose is resolved.
