Dev Patel unmasks the emotions behind ‘Hotel Mumbai’

Three days of the ordeal which took place inside the prestigious Taj Hotel which depicted how the staff and guests worked together to survive against the terrorists and their antics. Hotel Mumbai portrays the real essence of bravery and humanity all in unity to deal against any upcoming threat together. 

Fingers were pointed from all angles in criticism for the movie from the perfect portrayal of the bravery of the guests and staff; the brutality of the terrorists; the fact that no pointers were made upon the nationality of the threats; the excellent picturisation of the staggering long hours of the standoff between the outside world and inside the Hotel Mumbai. Hotel Mumbai definitely gets us many emotions running through; unity in adversity; horror; edge of the seat moments.

The cast includes the British native Dev Patel, Anupam Kher, Vipin Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Suhail Nayyar and many others. Dev Patel had a lot to say.

 “Once the incident was taken care of after 3 days, within three weeks, the hotel was up and running in full fledged pointing out that “you can't bring us down” “

 "We kind of shared the brutality, between one person, we would have crumbled, and that's the story of the film. It's an ensemble. It's about everyone in that hotel: guest, staff, alike."

The movie released for the occasion of TIFF on September 7, the releasing date for the worldwide theaters are yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
