Adrift, a real life story of two lovers, releases this Friday, June 1st.
Adrift tells the tale of Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp and how they find themselves in the mouth of a deadly hurricane. Adapted from a true story and its book 'Red Sky in Mourning: A True Story of Love, Loss and Survival at Sea'
September 1983 was the year they found love and took the ticket to travel from Tahiti to San Diego on a business venture to transport a 44-foot yacht. Maybe something too much to bite off more than they could chew.
An inspiring story of resilience by Tami to survive with nothing and no one in sight other than her severely injured fiance. Probably a far cry from any movie in similar lines. Talking about resilience, the movie was made on actual open water. Here's a behind the scenes clip:

Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin play as Tami and Richard. The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and is set to release on Friday, June 1st.
