Vishwaroopam II is an Indian spy thriller film written and directed by Kamal Haasan, it is the sequel to Vishwaroopam (2013). The film is a spy thriller starring Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur and Waheeda Rehman in pivotal parts. Produced by Venu Ravichandran in Tamil, the film is also being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor in Hindi version. Kamal plays the role of RAW Agent Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri/Vishwanathan/Viz in the sequel same as in Vishwaroopam. While the first film was set in the United States, Vishwaroopam II is set to take place in India. The first look of ace actor Kamal Haasan’s most awaited flick ‘Vishwaroopam 2‘ was unveiled on May 2nd, 2017.
