Vaastav is a 1999 crime drama film starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. The movie fetched Sanjay Dutt his first filmfare award and the movie explored the reality of Bombay Underworld. Raghu and his best friend Dedh Footiya decide to start a pav-bhaji stall in Mumbai, they earn very well and their families will also happy with their efforts. One day, a bunch of hooligans frequent their stall and never pay for their food and instead abuse them frequently. Raghu loses his temper and accidentally kills them, they are shocked to know that they are the members of a powerful gang which is ruling in Mumbai. With nowhere to hide, a local gangster offers them shelter and they become the cold-blooded killers of the Bombay Underworld.
