Thuppakki is a 2012 action thriller starring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The movie was a blockbuster on Diwali weekend. An army officer comes home on a holiday and hangs out with his friend who's a police officer in Mumbai. His holiday becomes a race against time when the city is in chaos with multiple terrorist attacks causing panic among the citizens. He has to stop it before its too late.
