Thanichalla Njan is a Malayalam drama movie, directed by Babu Thiruvalla starring Jagathy Sreekumar, KPAC Lalitha, Kalpana Priyadarshini in lead roles.Tuted to be based on a real incident,the movie tells about a Brahmin middle-aged woman, an outcast of the family, decides to commit suicide on the railway track, but was saved and taken home by a Muslim woman, who is a social worker and the difficulties, sacrifices and adjustments of the Muslim woman and her family as the love and harmony between the two grow to a stage where they find extremely difficult to separate.
