Spyder is a 2017 bilingual Indian spy thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss. Produced in Telugu and Tamil languages, the film features Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.Harris Jayaraj is composing the music while Santosh Sivan is handling cinematography. The first look of the film was released on 12 April 2017 and the film teaser was released on 1 June 2017. The film is scheduled for a release on 27 September 2017. Following Baahubali, Spyder is also planned to have simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Tamil Nadu rights have been acquired by Lyca Productions.
